Meet Dr. Glen Tanner
Helping active adults and athletes in North Scottsdale move better, feel stronger, and stay injury-free.
Why I Became a Chiropractor
I've always been deeply involved in sports — martial arts, bodybuilding, tennis. These activities weren't just hobbies, they were a core part of who I am. So when I developed a shoulder injury that threatened to sideline me, I was desperate for answers.
I did what most people do. I went to my primary doctor, who prescribed an anti-inflammatory. It had zero effect. I was frustrated and worried that this would become permanent.
Then I saw a sports chiropractor. He diagnosed a subluxation in my shoulder, adjusted it, and the next day I was back to performing all my exercises without pain. That experience changed everything for me.
I realized how powerful it was to help people maintain their quality of life and active lifestyle without relying on drugs or surgery. That's when I decided to become a chiropractor.

I graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College (Palmer West) on March 17, 1995, and have been practicing for over 30 years in North Scottsdale. Over three decades, I've invested extensively in advanced training to deliver the highest level of care.

My Approach to Care
After over 30 years of treating active adults and athletes in North Scottsdale, I've learned that lasting results come from addressing the whole system — not just the area that hurts.
When you walk into my practice, you're not just getting adjusted and sent home. We're going to identify the root cause of your pain or dysfunction, fix it, and give you the tools to keep it from coming back.
"Movement is medicine. My job is to help you move better so you can do more of what you love — whether that's competing at a high level, playing with your grandkids, or just getting through the day without pain."
What Makes My Practice Different
Evidence-Based Care
Every technique I use is backed by research and proven to get results.
Personalized Treatment
No cookie-cutter protocols. Your care plan is designed specifically for your body and goals.
Active Participation
I don't just fix you — I teach you how to maintain results through corrective exercise and lifestyle changes.
Sports Performance Focus
As a C.C.S.M.S and TPI-certified provider, I understand how movement quality impacts athletic performance.
Honest Communication
If I can't help you, I'll tell you and refer you to someone who can.
Beyond the Clinic
When I'm not treating patients, you'll find me pursuing the same passions that drew me to this career in the first place. I'm an avid golfer (my TPI certification came from loving the game as much as treating the players), I stay active with fitness and outdoor activities, and I'm deeply involved in the North Scottsdale community.
Staying active and healthy isn't just what I preach to my patients — it's how I live. I understand firsthand what it takes to maintain performance, prevent injuries, and recover when things go wrong.
Why I Love What I Do
There's nothing better than watching someone move without pain for the first time in months or years. Whether it's a weekend warrior getting back to their favorite sport or a grandparent picking up their grandchild without wincing — those moments are why I do this.
I chose this career because I wanted to help people take control of their health without relying on medications or invasive procedures. Every day, I get to do exactly that.
